Please make streams open in new tabs

Right now if you click on a stream from the sidebar it takes you to the stream directly from the page you are on. I think it would be much better if it just opened a new tab instead so that you don't lose your thread/can read the thread while waiting for commercial to finish. When you click on the stream it shows the stream but the chat is missing because you are still on ESOC. I think it'd be an improvement if clicking on the stream took you directly to the twitch page.

Yeah normally when you hit a link with the middle mouse button it's supposed to open the link in a new tab. But it simply doesn't do that here, for some reason.

It'll be fixed in the future though, don't worry.

There's a pop-up button for chat for streams which are embedded on ESOC.

I normally use the middle mouse button, but unfortunately that doesn't work either.

Yes, this is what it''s supposed to be. The problem is that there is a script on the surrounding li tag, that redirects the current page as well. That causes even a middle/mouse wheel click to change the current page. Remove the "onclick="location.href= ''http://www.twitch.tv/esoctv'''" and add target="_blank" ->' problem solved.

But it also requires some CSS changes because the link itself is smaller than the li tag. So if you remove the script, you also need to make the link bigger. Otherwise you need to click exactly on the text for it to work. (Won''t work to click on the darker area)

Can you change the onClick function to set the target attribute to "_blank"?

onClick = myFunction

stream.onClick.target = "_blank"'

I think it alreasy used to work on the text area. At least right mouse button -> open in new tab works if Im not mistaken.
