It looks like bold text doesn't work for me either. Using Chrome as you can see.

Hmm I'm also using chrome in win8 and it's fine for me.

Yup chrome 64-bit 41.0.2272.118 m on win8.1. Same problem as edeholland. I updated to 42.0.2311.90 m & still the same issue.
I think it has to do with chrome encoding. I was on ISO-8859-15 and tried with Unicode UTF-8 & Unicode UTF-16LE. It doesn't fix it.

It works on IE11 nonetheless. There is no auto-detect option on chrome (unlike chromium ?). I think the default one was Unicode UTF-8.

Ok I get it. I just disabled adblock for this website. Now it works

Protip if you're using chrome: with adblock plus go to "block element" and block the ads (and the text requesting you turn off adblock) that way.

The tip that GS mentioned doesn't work with the "classic" adblock because if you block that "warning", you also block bold text. Smart move from ProBoards B-|

Holy shit, it's indeed the Adblock. I disabled it and can see my own bold text now.

It only works with AB+ and only on chrome as far as I know.

Yeah usually it's just you guys using whatever adblock you got going to block that "Please consider" bla bla bla thing at the top.

The only way Adblock can block the top banner there is by blocking all the bold text elements on the page. It blocks everything tagged
