putting an event together takes a lot of time and dedication

the last invitational was a success, even though i've only watched about 30 seconds of it

something like an illegal smackdown would be good

I just hope DE is not going to implement all of the EP changes. Right now it is a big clusterfuck.

Thanks a lot! Yep I has access to the official channel now so look out for some more frequent streams on there. Joe the guy who now manages it asked me who wants access to it so I told him zuta and myself for now. He is new with it so it seems he might be a little more strict with who has access and may not want us to give to anyone in the esoc community so we will start off bit closer and then expand to others.

That's probably mostly because of the format and timing, first that bo3 doesn't allow adaptation so the player with more experience tends to always win, second that the timing was right after the server problems so many people hadn't been practising much.

Having almost all 2-0s in a bo3 tourney is a common phenomenon, that's why most bo3 tourneys I know of have loser's brackets after a certain stage.

Im pretty sure 2-0s are still unlikely, especially with a free counterpick. 2-0 has a 50% likelyhood if one player has like a 66% winrate. If the players are relatively close a 2-1 result is much more likely.
