Well, unfortunately, I thought we have access to the CSS files which configure how the forum looks like, but after I checked with the developer console, it seems that when you switch the page to a mobile browser user agent the site loads a different CSS file which is on the Proboards server and which we have no way to access or modify.
I''ve tried to bypass this using media queries in the site style sheet, but this has no effect on how you see the site on a phone, if the site will read your browser user agent as mobile.

@epiccheater It wouldn''t be hard for us to do that here too (and a lot more), but I discovered Proboards uses a separate CSS file for when it detects a browser with mobile user agent. I can see that file in the developer console, but we have no interface in the admin panel to make any changes to it. The Proboards admins confirmed this to me too. It might be because they want the site to use as few resources as possible, to save phone battery, so they don''t want people to customise it in such a way that would put a burden both on the phones and their servers. But, imo, the site looks usable even with their default mobile theme.
If you want something more, you can try Tapatalk, the app they recommend to use with the site (it''s free). I posted the links to the app above.
