Anyway, back to the topic, China is probably one of the worst civ against aztecs, so if you're good at defending take brits, else Otto ff (Jan/falc/mam is super scary), Jan/Huss or India 10/10 are hard to beat, especially at captain level.

700w/5v/10/9 but honestly they lose to anything.
700/3/5/10/9 also works you can also all in.
Usually I go full coyotes but full pikes also works.
Actually the only way you survive as China is with some colonial play, but you die eventually.

Oh yeah, the 5 food nerf is absolutelly HUGE.
last patch? just fine! EZ GAME EZ LIFE, 100% winrate on that MU. but now? with FIVE FOOD less? Impossible MU, totally broken. Even with the WC nerf on this patch, 5 food is just too big. Those patch guys have no idea what they do right?

Eh, no need to be offensive.
I was against that 5f nerf, eventhough it's okay, but trust me, it's big.

Russia was very strong last patch thanks to a -5f buff, how do you explain that?

Don't misunderstand me though, I'm not saying that 5f makes a HUGE difference, but it does make one, which explains that port would win the match-up in the last version of the patch, but now they lose it, eventhough it's close.

You also have to keep in mind that it wasn't just a 20f discount, but a food discount combined with a -100f nerf, which is actually like a 10f discount at the end.
Thus, we can say that Ports are between their RE level and their last patch level, which I'm sure you agree is something :)

I don't understand your agressivity, but the guy(s) who made the last patch exactly knows what he does :)

when you say "before port would win just fine, now they just lose." its not like you are saying "its 51-49..", but you say it like it was just an easy matchup and now its hopeless for ports.

Then I add the fact that aztec just got nerfed, and the diference (to last patch, re is not beeing discussed) is just 5f, and is plain obvious that you are making exagerated statements.


I'm not saying that 5f doesnt matter, i'm saying that it wont change a mu from easy to impossible, when the enemy civ just got nerfed as well.

Aztec wasn't nerfed actually.
The removal of cover mode is only an issue when you want to go FI, when playing colonial it's almost irrelevant.

My statement was exagerated that's true, but you don't need to make such a post to answer.
Something like "you're exagerating the consequences of a 5f nerf" would be just fine

Let me rephrase my previous statement:
Last patch it would be 55-45 in port's favour, now it's the contrary because 5f/vill is big (in fact, it was an overbuff for Russia).

It's not troll, it's very viable and maybe even the best option for Spain.
It means that a rush will just fail.
A timing won't break the Spain fortress timing and eco plays from azzy ie ff or late colo play can't deal with the falc timing.

If he's not rushing don't send cm ofc.
