It's just that I recently started playing Germany but it seems to me that they have no unique good unit you wanna spam (Dutch:Ruyter; Ports:Goons; French:Gendarmes). And without goons they just seem kinda underwhelming to me.

yea they are pretty underwhelming in late game. I have germantownfarmers in my 3v3 decks and i occasionally use it. Good thing about them is you can increase your eco by alot and then use it to feed cis that are better than yours in lategame. But most of the time your ebetter of with just 3 tc booms probably.

No they're op against musk cav. They suck ass mostly in age 3 when skirms and goons are involved, but against musk cav they do perfectly fine if you can micro them.

Regarding Germantown farmers, it is clearly better instead to send 6 SW an age later and avoid paying the cost of producing them.
