What to do vs japan while playing china

Whats better to do ff or rush jap?
normal land map without water btw.
and dont tell me to FI thats bs by that time im dead

go for a straight FF with market upgrades and porc tower

well the Problem is i played vs some japs. so first game i went ff and his eco was by than already so much better he just had to mass. second game i went agressive Age 2 and it was closer but still after some time he just oputmassed me. and third game was vs a Brigadier when i went ff and he just aged some later and than he won by out eco me again. i dunno how to beat jap...

Yes. I watched that rec game too.

His semi FI was maybe the best way to play against Japan. It was casted by veni too.

Because gs was high and kept spamming units without thinking and mixing cav or something (pretty sure gs said this himself as well)

He meant this wasnt played well by goodspeed, so not a good game to see as an example. Any good japan player at goodspeeds level would have added cav or aged to 4 age much before. He just massed ashi-yumi constantly, against mass chukonu + crows...

Yeah. Everyone noticed GS''s mistakes. Nobody saw shmras'' mistakes. But, aging to age 4 with pagoda? It''s a bit debatable. It could be better with temple of heaven or tower I guess.
