Wondering in which kind of build you would send 1200 and 900 res

greedy (semi)fi builds. or greedy FF builds.

If you want to do a more eco build and the map has livestock, a farm is ideal. The first upgrade isn't very expensive, only a bit cheaper than steel traps, 100w 75c (iirc)

900 res is just as good as 8 skirm shipment.

Its worse but iro lacks a bit in terms of good age 3 unit shipments (really only 8 fp and 5 musket riders) so its probably fine.

All TWC civs have great unit shipments. Iro also has 6-5 kanya, 5 mantlets 9-8 tomahawks, 5 cuirs, etc.
And no 900 res isn't even worse than a unit shipment because it contains 300w. 8 prowlers is 400f 520g.

Yea its good, with the extra food you can afford it, and the Xp and pen is nice

not to mention the extra food ups.

A cool thing I have done with the build in a semi-ff is building a plantation with the travois you get from going age 3 (which I think gives 160xp or maybe more, so it's pretty decent by itself), and then sending the card that makes all plantation and farm upgrades free. You get an extra 30-40% iirc on food and coin gathering from all land sources all in one shipment. It's quite greedy, but I've gotten away with it a few times.
