Mm yea, though a lot of ESOC maps have nootka on them so I think on EP it's slightly India favoured.

That list is wildly inaccurate and to top it off he didn't even know that yumiarcher was nagiyumi.....

If india places the agra at front it seems a losing scenario. The maces zone gurka from contesting the pumas sieging the agra down. The agra goes down, with war chief aura aztec gets like a full shipment for it. India cant get enough value with the gurka and they cant do some devastating mm call because the aztec army is quite far away. India is then behind really far and feels sad.

What I have been trying is a different agra placement. It actually doesnt make much sense to place it at front; due to its size its simply out of TC range, something quite disadvantageous when defending pressure. The fact that it covers resources doesnt quite make up for that, at least not against aztec. Placing it more next to or even behind the TC feels better. Now aztec doesnt have an easy good target to siege. You basically deny them the xp that they'd get from the agra. If they still siege it, theyd have to move around it awkwardly which allows india to get value out of their gurka. Aztec can also try to commit to pressuring the vills, which is far riskier.

Im not sure it makes india favored. Id assume india will make crucial mistakes so easily that I'd still prefer to be in aztecs position, and aztec could opt for more coyotes and make it awkward for india but it makes the mu much better.

The way you must play India vs Aztecs is always Agra in TC range. If Agra is even 5 tiles away from TC range, even a mace-pike rush can work, which shouldn't.
India shouldn't make a single sepoy. Every sepoy made just gives chances to Aztecs since it pushes India combo away from the optimal one (which steamrolls Aztec combo).
By not losing to any sort of early aggression India naturally outbooms Aztecs (sadly even against stagecoach) and then gurka + carded camels are simply impossible to kill for Aztecs in colonial.

On the other hand, Aztec shouldn't ever mace-pike rush a good India. Mace-pike rush is for you play vs bad India players, the kind of players that would make sepoy at start and that are not aware on Aztec potential.
