Sieging tips

Hello,

I am wondering what units to use for sieging. I find that oddly enough musketeers siege better than pikemen, who have much higher atk stat. Why is that?

Siege damage is calculated based on the yellow cannon icon, not the melee/ranged attack. Pikemen have a higher siege stat than musketeers, though musketeers do siege better than light infantry or ranged cavalry.

This is why Abus guns shoot at buildings and grenadiers throw grenades instead of throwing fiery sticks like normal units. Their "ranged attack" is already siege attack.
