Aztec- Agrarian Ways Card

So I've started to experiment with the Aztecs and I was wondering if this card is worth sending in early fortress age. I usually fast age to age 2. Now if I choose to age up to fortress with the farm travois and send this card. You can get the hunting/gathering bonus for hunts and berries pretty fast at no cost.

Ps. Remember the first 2 or 3 aztec food and plantation upgrades from farms also affect natural resources.

Probably not, although it's not a horrible card to send late Fort when you're transition to mills probably

In a real game is not convenient to age up to fortress with the farm so it's not really viable to send it first. And then you will realize that by the time you spare a card for it you already dropped some farms so you probably already researched the ups. Then having it in deck just for couple plant ups is not worth it and it's better to have the farm/plant upgrades instead.
It's similar to the land grab issue plus card slots are particularly precious with Aztecs.

That card is very viable with Iro though if you want some eco FF. With all the travois you get for free you can easily build a plantation and a farm.

I used to do this vs ports and dutch: age with 15v and the wise woman to II. In transition get market ups and a TP and with the aging travois you can build your farm. Then send 5v/600c and age fast to III and send agrarian ways and the crate shipment. Just need to gather a lot of wood to make your unit buildings. Tip: you can build a stable or WH with your travois as well but if you intend on sending Agrarian Ways just dance for travois. It'll be cheaper than 400w+800w :)

not sure if everyone knows this BUT with warchief civs, even if you are not on mills/plantations yet having their techcch upgrades boost ur hunting gathering and mining as well. I guess they figured since they get less plantation/mill carads, no refiregeration, steel traps, coin card etc...does anyone see building mill/plantation viable just for that reason? I guess with Iro maybe if you are spamming out travois anyway

Yea it s a cool shipment but in practice you can t really use it :(
