At high level revolt never works, because all you have to do to beat it is to build walls with cannons behind them.

Only a few civs can revolt successfully, what works best vs imperial huss, militia and heavy cannons are culv, 1-2 falconets and pure anti cav (vet muskets, halberds, no goons (die to militia quite fast) and a lot of walls. Try to sneak in some petards and watch the firework.

lol u guys dont understand the true power of the otto Trollvolt.

its a double down all in, and you don't beat it easily. in fact in most mu's where army dictates the pace, trollvolts are almost unbeatable.

As i said, you dont understand the trollvolt.

Beauty of the trollvollt is that if you do that there simply wont be a trollvolt and you will face 5 gb with guard spahi instead. Beauty of the trollvolt is that its delayed, but nit too much, so that you are fighting mams and jans and cannon while suddenly bam otto hits iv and bam otto hits revo, and you have no time to wall at all...

Actually as a rule of thumb, if your trollvolt failed you were either too late or you did it in the wrong kind of mu. Because you should only trollvolt ifwinning the fight means winning the game. Or ofc, if losing the fight means losing the game
