should still play age 2 imo
5v first then adapt (4 kanya first if china chop during aging up)

China FF is completely capable of getting away vs iro colonial on EP so I wouldn't advise that.
There is simply no colonial approach that I see working:
- aggressive colonial -> china cuts off a bit of eco, repeals rush and wins by sheer shipment spam
- mild aggressive colonial -> slightly better mass but less problems for China who gets to fortrees basically unharmed and with better units
- greedy colonial -> outscales China but won't be able to deal with China deathball because of the tech gap between units.
Among all colo options the last one is probably the one with slightly more winning chances. Then again if too passive China can squeeze another age up and then good luck vs industrial flying crows, redcoats, disciples, etc.

In RE iro can beat 90% china with age 2 play. in EP it should still be available.
China can reach age 3 at around 7:30, but the "deathball" is not a matter before 9:00. A timing push should still work.

I'm not even sure iro rush 100% works on RE. On EP without TP fat age is pretty bad. With TP still not that great. I think China can have a good game with colo play even with best iro start on EP.
