British vs Ottomans

I ottolamed my brit friend. He concluded that I suck and asked me how to play as Brit vs ottolamers.

What can Brit do vs otto, against jan abus and FF?

Recs if possible.

Also, how should be your town construction? Should it be explorive or defensive? Where should be your outpost? What's the best way to play Brits against Otto?

Vs a ff, also ff with 700w/700g and go musk+2 falcs vs a jan/abus, go full lb behind a wall and add cav with 700g (700w 600w 700g)

Brit vs otto is hopeless. If you click into this MU against a player of similar skill level as bits you will loose 99% of the time.

Can otto even win this with jan abus on a map with a lot of food? I deel like if otto spams avus from 1 foundry and brit spams lb from 2 raxes the brit will win

Otto wins it sure but that's doable, on water maps brit do ok and with a wall they are decent.

against ottoman you need to use 2x lb 1x muskets and 2 falconets

for example.
if you have 10 muskets, you need 20 longbows.

muskets need to defend longbows in case hussars come and use time, so longbows can take out jannisaries :thumbsup:

as long as you are behind wall you only need 5 pike imo, or even of not behind wall it will be obvious that otto is making cav or aging if u see hes not making abus anymore

Yea I kind of agree with you. But remember how much faster Otto ages. I think the key is as Brits to mass up LB without getting one batch killed at a time as they come out . When rush with iro/ Otto against Brits its the only hope to try and hit their rax fast and make sure I'm right in top of any stupid LB that pop out of them. But if Brit is trying to boom effectively he's paying a lot more attention to Eco micro whereas Otto is basically paying none like the fucking noob he is. So Otto will have the micro advantage. But against a hardened LB lamer I'd just FF for spahi falc anyway

Brit just doesn't win this MU. The only civ that can hope to challenge Ottoman is Iroquois.

I disagree, you always need cav against a jan/abus combo. Moreover when you can be safe behind a wall. But yeah, this is an hard mu for brit.

Musk only counter mams in hand combat and by this time, jans will kill them if you dont have enough muskets.
