No. When you are ahead pushing for the win is risky because it might give your opponent a chance to win with defenders advantage. If your army and economy are better than his you should invest more in eco like get more market upgrades or build a second town center while he is trying to keep up with you military wise.

On the other hand, for example in a non mirror you could say by not beating him while he is weak you give him a change to come back. If you are playing vs japan for example and you kill his first 10 ashi and like 3v and then do nothing, you give him a chance to randomly go full boom and age up and rape you. Same with british. You give him a chance to randomly make 20 manors and win.

When your opponent does FI you dont have to right click his TC while panicking.

He just says that the aspects related to gaming will make you win. Its not applicable to anything really, as you are exactly doing what he is saying you should do to win anyways.
