Whats the standard time to hit age 3 with china im always up at like 8 mins but i think the normal is like 7:40 how can i achieve that and how to defend vs hard rush civs like aztec,russia,india etc ?

Start to age at 6:00, put 4vills on the wonder, you ll be aged at 7:30.
The main thing is your age2 time, you should be around 4:40. Eat your goat in age1 before aging to age faster.

Vs rushes, try to hold without military shipments and age with the academy. You want to have dble mm+monk+disciples+8skirms and vills in mele at 8min. Then if you hold, game is almost won.

You'll honestly need to send 8 chu ko nus after 700 coin because everyone is not H2O or snsjack and you can't easily defend a jan rush, sepoy rush and even a musk rush. In this case you might chop wood. You shouldn't even try the porcelain tower build vs otto or india (unless india goes mad and booms vs china)

Send few villies far away from your town where you can safely gather coin and build consulate/village.

You should hit age 2 at 5 min and 700g immediately. Start the age 3 wonder at 6min which takes 1:36 to build with 4 vills. To defend against a Russian or Aztec rush you can start tp and send northern refugees, CM, 700g since CM 1 hits their inf and reduced the shots to kill cossacks. VS india you should target 2 shots on each of their sepoy to reduce them to 10 hp and then use mm +summer palace army + hero in cover mode to kill remaining sepoy.

Why not? If you are against Russia and they strelet rush you with 5+4 cossack, the amount of VS you save from sending CM is more than worth a shipment. Also the Chinese version makes your mm not lose hp over time.

You dont loose any VS? You just kill more units but not enough to make it worther than 700w. And you can hold with 7 cav btw.

I mean the VS you save from not having every single villager inside your TC. If you are sending 7 steppe then the CM is not instead of 700w and 7 steppe do nothing vs the Cossacks whereas CM can kill 20+units.
