You gotta age with the fast age to colonial no matter what.
Then it depends, if your opponent is going to attach you with falcs or skirm/goon, you should age to fortress with the Chief politician. And if he makes a lot of cav, aging to fortress with 3 SK is better.

You're usually /50, and you reach the 4 th age with 2 shipments, so you already need 500w for houses, then 200+400w for the maced upgrades, and you gotta gather more wood for more houses and to train maces.

also i don't think smoking mirror is a must. this shipment is far away from 1000 resources as it's an age 3 shipment. i'd send 4 skull/6 arrow to defend, or just leave it to age 4. (and that's why i prefer going to age 4 with messenger: you can skip age 3 shipments.)

The Area and the Speed you get is far better than 1k res lol.

If you are aging to Industrial as soon as possible, I'd think Smoking Mirror is better than 1000w.

Probably expending The Messenger towards Colonial Age is best, but I could see Fortress Age also making sense, since it saves 70 train-points instead of 60.

Just leave it on the ground for maximum induction of tilt. You don't need it, but your opponent could sure have used it.

I'd be sure to have "24 Macehualtins" in the deck as well, by the way...

The only time someone did this explorer shit against me he got rekt too, yet diarouga and boneng make it seem OP. As India, do you just FI? Bet urumi rape this haha.

Actually all FIs that have popped up have mostly been pretty abusive lol. This is based on the explorer cover mode bug almost entirely, together with the almost free revival of said explorer. Japan FI is based on getting 3 free shipments due to wonder bug.

The only FIs that are even remotely viable is China's FI and to a lesser extend India's FI. Spain/Otto FR work too sometimes. But none of these can become meta.
