Can you further explain how damage is spread out? If you have 2 strelets in front of the hussar, and 1 strelet directly behind the hussar, is the damage still spread all around?

It seems random — splash range differs from 1 to even about 4, sometimes you can damage units standing behind your horseman, too, though, like I said, it's not granted.
