If there isn't any tp route (or one where you can't build tps like the silk road one) and also if you don't go for an all in-ish rush then trickle is better. The tp one for me depends on whether I get it up right when the travois man (ma hero) passes or right after' experience treasures and fighting guardians in that case are very important and if you get your shipment a bit earlier the tp is worth even more: not only are you ahead some exp (that got you the shipment faster) but also you are then ahead 1-2 passes which could make the trickle useless. Could we all agree that it's a matter of boom/late timing potential vs rush/early timing potential and is also a matter of personal preference and exp treasures?

It is a matter of wether or not your explorer must be used for age1 fight. And frankly taking/denying treasures is generally more important.
Also trickle is way superior to 100w in the long run.
I would only send 300w if I plan to make 2early TPs and up them. But that's only viable in a bunch of cases.
