1v1 petard spam

I lost a 1v1 on Deccan. Me Iroquois, shadowagent France. The only unit he made entire game was petard, 372 to be exact. That, combined with walls, and towers with super HP, and uber fast training petard.

I know I suck, but his strat was pretty impressive.

I was using travois dance. His economy was very strong at that point and he had all TPs using ATP card. Every time I kill TP, he instantly reconstructs. I wish I had a recording, it was hilarious (I admit I was quite infuriated during the game).
I don't think this would happen if I was Euro and had access to mortars.

Really the only reason he won is because he lamed walls in early game (like 4 layers lol) which protected him long enough to establish economy.

Also, I'm curious if this could be viable strat in a 3v3.

I just resign against nayuki on any map that has water. It's just not worth it cause its gonna be a 45 minute game even if I win.

Haha I was joking about the building dance. To be honest, with iro you should win regardless of what he's doing. And on deccan you can get 5 tps stagecoach if he turtles (worth 20 vils lol), since he shouldn't be able to keep control of the TP lines with only petards...

Fully upgraded towers, spamming them all over my base. Upgraded CDB hard to kill. 372 petard, they will Melee vills and army

I always seem to be the only one that loves to play him. He doesn't even resign every second game when we meet in QS.

imo petard spam is countered by making ram spam. Rams are OP according to the god himself too, so you'll have that going for you.

Your inexperience is showing through here, rams can't even hand attack so they don't stand a chance against petards...
