Questions for high level Brit players

Couple questions for you guys coming from a Brit noob:

At what point do you guys start to gather wood if you go double musk or musk/Huss?
Should I just age up at the point I need more manors/Eco and send 1000 wood or send some vills onto wood and keep massing? Feel like it's an awkward spot to be in as a Brit player.

Also was wondering what people think about using Advanced Arsenal in drawn out colonial matches (ie vs Russia)?

1. i usually keep about 3 vills on wood even with a musk/huss start. anyway, after 700 600 you have to chop.
2. age up for cannon and goon, not for 1000w. just put 10+ vills on wood and have 2nd wood upgrade in market researched.
3. AA is available, but brit already has 4 unit upgrade shipments in age 2, so i don't quite like that card.

Advanced Arsenal is a pretty good card, and I have it in my mirror decks, and some of my other decks. It is kinda annoying just because the techs there cost so much (700 res for the musk attack and 450 for HP I think), and the card does nothing to help those out.

There are several potential build orders here. Standard brit play is to drop a single military building on age up, and add a second with 700w, whether this be a rax or stable.

However, you can do an immediate 2 rax musk rush where you skip market, build manors (try to get to 60 pop with tres - works best on wood start) and ship 700c first then 700w, and build 2 military buildings on age up (age up with 500f). This is ill advised unless in a 2v2 where your teammate will have a unit to compliment you going pure musk.

I don't gather any wood after age 1 until a good deal after 700w and 600w have come in. I think it's better to put the villagers towards resources that will leverage a better army for tempo control, and the consecutive wood shipments still supplement your economy quite well.

At which point do you start chopping for more manors? Just when you need the pop for units?

I do the exact same thing as you say here but I feel like around 12-14 mins I get in this very awkward spot where my eco falls behind in team games.

So you just keep 3 of the transition vills to colonial and leave them on wood? Do you usually age with 500F or with the tower?

Well high level is relative, idk the OP but when I was sergeant captain was very high level for me

I always leave 2 or mainly 3 vills on wood after advancing, but later on in mirrors I just fall behind, maybe that's why actually xD 3 additional vills on food/coin can be pretty significant in terms of these seemingly insignificant details, paradoxically...
seriously, though, callen is pretty gud with Brits, as far as I can tell

Captain is pretty high level to me yes, currently I am around PR21 I think.

Regardless I am open to help from most people, just trying to get better.

At least when it comes to standard build orders current captains are a good source, and callen is actually a colonel by the way
