What to do as French?

Hi atm im trying to master the french cov on my way to the top.. generally i know how to ff and how to go musk/huss but i don t no against which civs i should go musk/huss or semi ff.. against brits 5 huss semi ff works pretty well for me (as a masterserg)..
Could u tell me against which civs its advantageous to do what?

What I think you should do is idle his eco as much as possible. Hunting down his explorers so he doesn''t shrine, and make him bell his villagers, whilst not really engaging his yumi, then make a transition to huss and catch his yumi out of position. It''s easier said than done, but it''s the only thing that works for me.

Just do 5 huss to raid but do not loose them! Most of the time, these 5 huss do the difference.

Don't really like bow Pike rushing vs Japan. Won't work on higher lvl. Japan can always wall, or just kite with yumi Forever. Rather go bow Pike semi or Rush with musks and add cavs later.

If he makes walls, then go age3 but vs an age 2 it is better to play age 2.

It''s playable, hurting china''s FF as much is always good, even if you have to play in colonial but longer. Undamaged china FF is just extremely hard for french to deal with in fortress. And the 5 cav sometimes does nothing special if they villages are well placed and you got a good hunt near TC.

It's just impossible to kill redcoats & changdao with musk/xb. I would rather semi ff.
