according to this, japan looses vs everything..but japan is no sioux
Matchups are too subjective to make a table. A lot depends on the map and how much players know each other. In many MUs there are strange ways to win that are specially designed to counter a specific build, like, say, revolution as Spanish or Ottomans against Chinese, or walling forward towers, or rushing in a mirror.

very true, but I think the worst thing is that even at the highest levels of play I feel india is so unexplored with semi-ff builds, you almost never see them, and as h20 beat mongo's China in the tourney they are obviously viable in some matchups.

It's actually hard to explore to. At my pr level I tried a bit too mess around with semiff builds but every time I joined a game I got flamed because people had already assumed I was doing a 12sepoy rush before we even started game. Honestly, same with Otto/iro/sioux, you try to discover new strats but people just flame you before even playing.
