Why do you not train the Cav+skirm army as China?

This army seems pretty good, as china's composition in age 3 seems to be heavy on cav and skirm. Why do people not train it? Is it because it is iron flails and not meteor hammers? I dont play china, but I am looking to learn, and this is one of the questions I have wanted to ask.

because its not the composition you are looking for, guys in treaty train them when they need skirms and not pikes. Also iron flails are bad without meteor hammers I've heard. Those 2 units compliment each other.

iron flail is a pretty weak unit without hammer. forbidden army+10 arquebusier+9 iron troops work better.

On top of that, this is the most expensive army, and it is dangerous to wait for having the resources

Even if Iron Flails weren't total-fucking-garbitch, you generally would not want to be making an army in which both units are countered by heavy cavalry.

No, Meteor Hammers are so good they overcompensate for how bad Iron Flails are. Forbidden Army would be far better if the two Flails were Hammers.

Basically you can just afford to make territorial army and forbidden army and keep the few extra swords just in case for tanking/bodyblocking/sieging.
