The proper pronunciation of Travois is similar to the proper pronunciation of Iroquois. They both end in the same vowel sound (you frenchies with your triple vowel syllables) and have a silent s

he says it in the way he says Travois well I think we dont have language experts here so I stick to what dict.cc says. I guess maybe both ways are correct.

The french pronounciation for both "travois" and "Iroquois" is correct. Same goes for Arkansas (ar-kan-saw). The reason for this is that these terms were invented by the French colonists. The Iroquois didn't themselves the Iroquois with the french pronounciation, obviously. I'm not sure what the origin of the travois is, but I know that the french pronounciation is correct.

I think we just got ourselves confused the way i explained is the same way he pronounces, similar to travois. So we're both right
