I'm obviously biased but IMO it's one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been in and should be a city you've visited before you die. The V.O.C. (and smaller W.I.C.) started our dominance on the spice trade and, unfortunately, slavery markets which lasted decades. In that time our merchant fleet was bigger than England, France, Spain, and Portugal combined, which is pretty impressive for such a small and until recent irrelevant country. Excessive wealth leads to improvements all around the country, and as a result, our country, arts, literature, etc boomed. Amsterdam, in particular, has tons of beautiful buildings, parks, monuments, and museums.

For the purpose of this trip, the beer is relatively cheap compared to neighboring countries (except Germany, but they cheated by world warring twice) and the temperature can possibly reach 15 celsius in August.

I'm obviously biased but IMO Nebraska is one of the most bland states I've ever been in and should be a state you never visit before you die. The gold rush of 1848 started Nebraska's dominance as the most boring state to pass through as thousands of settlers traveled through the state to reach the much more interesting West Coast much as they do now. In that time our seas of prairie grass were bigger than Iowa, Colorado, and Kansas combined, which is pretty impressively boring for such a normal and always irrelevant state. Excessive trails to California led to small settlements in Nebraska in which settlers too weak to make the trek were forced to settle, and as a result, Nebraska's arts, literature, etc. suffered. Hebron, in particular, has no beatuiful buildings, parks, monuments, or museums unless of course you count the World's Largest Covered Porch Swing.

For the purpose of your hopefully nonexistant trip here, the cost of living is relatively cheap compared to literally every other state (except North Dakota) because no one wants to live here and the temperature can reach 100+ F in the summer and 0- F in the winter.

edit: damn, all you fucks posted while I was writing this. This is meant to be right underneath Bramboy's post...

Amsterdam > Bruxelles for holiday purposes. It's even more centralized so more fair for all Europeans.
I've been twice in Paris already. Also I think it's more expensive to sleep and live there (probably flight too). Also less safe on top of that.

Let's be honnest : it's Amsterdam only because goodspeed is dutch and @XeeleeFlower made the tread^^

There was like 50 people who die by terrorism in Paris in the last decade and I guess like 100 millions people came here, so the risk is ridiculous^^
I also think that there are more fr and ger player than dutch player.
I already went to Amserdam and don't think at all it's the most beautiful city in the world lol, not even top 10 Imo (even if it's not especially bad either).

Btw I don't see any reason to do it somewhere else either, so you could just arg this is a random big city in europe where young people can make party.

Anyway I don't intend to take hollydays to see foreign aoe people I have never seen...

PS : who the fuck want to pay >150$ per night ??? As I came there I esily found a bed for <30€ (can't remember but I think it was like 23€)...
