Your first game on EP?

Hey lovely people I think this title lacks in the "your first experience" thread family

Do you remember the 1st game you played on the ESOC Patch, was it intense/a lot of fun? Did you play with a civ which was modified on the patch?

Speaking for me, I was a sergeant when I played my first multiplayer EP games and I can thank higher-level people who played friendly with me! My 1st 1v1 was with @purplesquid who gave me advice and my first team game with @EAGLEMUT and 4 other people who accepted a level 15 to play with them I remember the enemy team decided to troll by going heavy on grenadiers and yabusames, it worked because I played badly

I think my first games were vs Eaglemut when we scheduled 1v1s to practise for the team Strong World tournament... I don't have any recordings, though. First series of the event was a 2v2 vs [~WAC~] consisting of Bramboy and Jerom from the 27th of March 2016. I came back to playing in February 2016, so it sounds reasonable it's the first EP rec I have

My first EP game was vs Jerom just after EP2.0 was released. It was also the game where I learnt Russia boom isn't as good as Dutch boom

My first time on EP wasn't like I expected and it hurt

I met cramper on quick search - my France vs his ports on Siberia. I tried massing and pressuring in fortress, but he FI'd and won. Iirc the game was pretty close tho. There was an initial excitement when the EP was released, and enough people were playing it, that the EP quicksearch was even active (I think I spent the next two weeks playing sup on EP only).

Teamgame where blackstar - bpdscolony - moesbar and some others in xD wasnt really shy to get monstertrucked because the cheats were blocked.

I beat some guy with much higher PR and he said “nice smurf” even though I wasn’t smurfing. My respond was as always “thank you for the compliment”.
