Except that it shows worse results most of the time. At least if you're a noob like I and most others who doesn't know how to search properly.

Duck duck go displays a mix of result from the most common search engine such as google, yahoo etc. If you make a particular search and want only google results you can use he bang char : write "!g" at the end of your search and it will display only google results.

I just tried !g and it didn't just display Google results but actually redirected to Google. Seems pointless.
