For the Ladies I do a light bow before gently taking their fragile hand and give it a soft kiss. For the guys I throw the devils hand sign and say SLAYER.

I would love to. When we are in The Netherlands, the only English I accept is with Dutch accents!

Even though that would be an interesting experience with you, I can't as I still live with my parents and there's no way I'm convincing them to store a random guy here.

Nope, camping within the city limits is illegal.

There are some camping sites, in the north I think

Mr bramboy please tell your parents that I will be on a vegetarian diet in July so they can start planning out what meals to prepare. Also is your home pet-friendly or should I make other arrangements for my dog?

Either freezing or too hot to breathe. Never in between.

Temperatures in July should be somewhere between 17-22°C (62-71°F) according to Wikipedia. The climate is humid, meaning it'll feel warmer and cramped. It doesn't rain often in July but it can happen so I recommend packing at least some resilient clothes if you do plan on going.

Bram, like many dutchies, is actually unaware that the summer is actually the raining season in the Netherlands. ^

I've had a couple people respond without a discord name. If you aren't on discord, please do so since our meetup has its own discord server. It will make it easier to coordinate things and also allows us to communicate quickly and more efficiently. Also, install it on your phone so that when you are in Amsterdam, you'll be able to use it via wifi.

Please take the survey even if you aren't 100% sure that you will be coming. It will make things so much easier if we need to rent a house/hostel. Also, it would be nice to have some idea of how many people will be coming so that we can rent enough space for games. We have 5 months to prepare, though, realistically, it's closer to 3 months since I would like everything to be as close as finalized as possible due to finding space, etc.

I had nearly 50 people take my previous survey saying that they would probably come. I've only had 10 responses so far in this survey....

I'd love to meet you guys but unfortunately it won't be possible for me to fly from Canada to Holland. You guys have fun. Hopefully, I can make it if there is a next meeting :)
Great initiative btw! Cheers!

@Lunatic_Fringe Is it the cost of a ticket? I often use google flights to find tickets. You can be creative with it and check nearby airports, add stops to make it cheaper, etc. If you need help with trying to find cheaper tickets, let me know. This goes for everyone.

He is bringing oriental cabbage and I am bringing Grandma Gaddis' famous liver stew.
