Big streamers playing aoe2
sodapoppin and greekgod are currently playing aoe2 for 40k viewers total. Its the 6th most watched game on twitch rn and would probably be higher but dumbass greekgod still has his game on spyparty
Re: Big streamers playing aoe2
Made me so fucking mad that all fucking streamers acting like theres no AoE 3 in the existence. Wish i had money to donate this to them.
mentally healthy
Re: Big streamers playing aoe2
well, just think about all the hassle needed to set up a proper AoE3 game
Re: Big streamers playing aoe2
Its just aoe2 is way more beginner friendly. THe card system and hc level system means you have to learn basically 2 games in 1. People cant be bothered to do this.. They just want to load up and play a game where you start equal to anyone. aoe2 can offer this. Aoe3 cant.. thats the main reason ppl prefer it even if aoe3 has better graphics or whatever.

U are a big streamer too gibson, our streamer :)
Re: Big streamers playing aoe2
aoe3 is more beginner friendly. Mechanics are the dumbed down version of any other AOE game. They become a bit more tasking at higher level.
Card system is not perceived as an entry barrier.

Re: Big streamers playing aoe2
I really do think aoe3 takes more brainpower to play than aoe2. If you look at studies where electroencephalography was employed to measure brain activity, you'll see that they actually have a subject play aoe3 to help calibrate the machine. For example, if you don't see all areas of the brain lit up on the screen when the subject is playing aoe3, you know the machine is not measuring brain activity accurately. If a subject was playing aoe1 we'd expect just the hindbrain (pons specifically) to light up, since playing that game takes about as much brainpower as it does to breathe.
