R.I.P Chester from Linkin' Park 1976-2017

I kinda feel Dolan's emphasis on "loser" thing, because we have a tendency to glorify dead persons; especially when it is more tragic. I believe word loser was to get attention to the "dead heroes" point. It's cool to suicide in some people's mind, i had friends like that.

Here's an important facet about suicidal thoughts and often actions - you fucking feel like those you love are better off without you. You're just a drain on them and society. It's the opposite of selfish, actually. From your perspective, at least. Especially if you have a will, arrangements planned, etc. A hanging is even the best way to do it because there's not much of a mess to clean up. Slicing one's wrists in a tub is also easier to clean. Sorry for being so raw here, but it seems that there's a serious lack of information into how a suicidal person thinks, which is fortunate in that many people have never been at this state or knew someone who was; but it's also unfortunate because without understanding the thought process, negative judgement seeps through and hurts others who may be on the brink themselves.

Did a person who killed himself have less of a choice when he killed himself than I did when I decided to eat that Snickers bar yesterday? I do not think so. Whether or not the suicidal person had a choice, I think the same applied to me before I ate the chocolate. I didn't choose to get the urge to eat that piece of chocolate, did I?
In any case, I do not think this actually matters. Whether or not the suicidal person had less of a choice, or even if nobody ever has a choice regarding anything, everyone is responsible for their actions. I do not mean that as putting the blame on the actor for the sole sake of blaming someone, but rather elucidating to whom the response of the action should be directed. If I suddenly and inexplicably get the urge to stab the person in front of me, and I do it, the proper response is to incarcerate me (or neutralize me in some other way) to protect others. This does not mean that I myself was not a victim or that people should not be compassionate - however, resentment toward me is more than appropriate.
In the case of someone having killed himself, holding him responsible is of no practical value as he no longer exists. This is the reason he is not responsible for his actions, not because he didn't have a choice or he was the victim. However, resentment is still appropriate because it was wrongdoing with terrible consequences, and he was the reason for it. Once again, resentment and compassion are not mutually exclusive.

Pay more attention to detail.

Suicide is a lose-lose for everyone. I know depression is a though thing to deal with but this doesn't mean that there's no way out of it.
