It's the other way around here. Gyros is (as I see it) more considered a snack, whereas souvlaki is seen as a legit meal.
In northern Greece, the size of pita gyros is considerably bigger than that of southern Greece, and one is enough for a meal. If Cyprus has the smaller version, then yes it is a snack.

It depends. In Kavala (my hometown) gyros is served on regular bread, in Cyprus I guess they use Cypriotic pita and in Athens/Thessaloniki you have many options, although ladopita is prefered. Souvlaki can be served as a main dish with some salad and rice and so can gyros if its merida.

Yea, they call it Cypriotic style. Me being in the tourist area probably makes it less authentic.

Then price is decent as well as size. Tourist areas don't necessarily have low quality food and honestly idk about authenticity of this food. All I know it's awesome

expensive af, even in my homecity Stuttgart its 3-3.50 and that city isn't known for being cheap RN living in Saxony which is basically the cheapest you can get for anything, have had many 2,50€ ones that tasted good
