Lets see

5'11, 180 lbs

squat 215lbs 5x5
Bench press 150lbs 5x5
overhead press 110lbs 5x5
DL 220lbs 1x5
Curl 70 3x8 or random amount of chinups. I've been stuck here awhile and bounce up and down 5lbs on the curl.
bent over row 115-125lbs 5x5
Stomach exercises I rotate alot. planking, crunches with 30lbs on my chest, or some sort of hanging leg raise.

Those are my core exercises. I've been treading water with no weight increases for a couple months now, due to injuries & laziness. Gotta get back to it

5 reps, 1 set. i havent given much thought into it, and i just do what im told. my routine is a combo of stronglifts and ice cream fitness 5x5, and i do shitloads of squats which apparently has tons of overlap with DL

I do 10, but although not at my max, but 10kg below it. (130kg atm, which google tells me is 286.6 pounds)

Squats do overlap a lot but I dont do as many as I should of those :P

If anything DL should be the lowest rep exercise in your program - it's the most taxing on the system.

True, good call - best way to measure is by total volume of course (sets*reps*tempo).

Well conditioned people can squat pretty much every day, but a good deadlift workout would be sufficient for the week on the CNS.

deleted_user wrote:I became heavily involved in free weight lifting and quasi bodybuilding for a short period of 10 months or so. I invested many, many hours online researching everything to know about basic, fundamental fitness: exercise programs, diet, form, progression, mobility, etc. During this time I went form 6' 4" 185 lbs (runner) to 250 lbs back down to 235 at roughly my same starting body fat %. I maxed out at 245/335/395 B/S/D (which isn't even that good). I counted calories, I bulked and cut, and I went to the gym on a variety of programs and I even bought my own free weight set. I followed youtubers and like five fitness/weightlifting subreddits and was very involved. I was so set in my mindset I believed I would never stop working out and lustfully looked forward to the day I told myself I'd start on gear. I looked good.

Well suffice to say it's been a couple years since then lol and I haven't really done anything with the time but buy new pants because I gained a waist size.

245/335/395 the weights youre training with or your max?

Yaaaaaas, I'm doing squats myself. Lots of work but even after the first week I could feel everything getting tighter.

This is the first serious exercise routine I've ever done and it's so nice~
