Re: Pick your poisons!
I like SirCallen's format, so here I go:
Good beer: default beverage
Cheap beer: when I want to get drunk on beer (because good beer overwhelms when drunk quickly) or when there is no good beer available
Cider: perhaps if I am feeling edgy as fuck, but probably never
Wine: default beverage if I don't feel like having a good beer; red and white are both great
Vodka: when I want to get shitfaced quickly; no mixing as it is blasphemy, chug a glass of pure vodka!
Whiskey: when I want to get drunk while drinking slowly
Brandy: I haven't learned to drink this yet
Tequila: shots!
Gin: I have had gin when sober once only and then I had to wash it down with whiskey. First impression was not good.
Rum: Only tried James Cook and it was back when I was very new to the world of alcohol. It did not leave a good impression.

Cider - going to the river/beach
Wine - when a girl comes over or when reading beat literature or when game of thrones is on

Whiskey - old fashions only
Brandy - wtf is this
Tequila - mark of a good night and/or early morning margs on vacation
Gin - favorite liquor, tastes like how pine needles smell
Rum - spiced <3, favorite shot, rum and coke is timeless
What specifically about it doesn't make sense?

Beer, mostly a fan of Blonde and Weiss beers. Hoegaarden, Leffe Blond, and some other brands are really nice.
Second place is vodka energy, just because that shit makes a night great.
Then wine, preferably red wine.
I'll survive a whisky from time to time.

These days I mostly drink white wine, though red is also ok. Otherwise Gin+tonic, Rum+coke, ciders are the other top choices for me.
I'm unfortunately allergic to the taste of beer, it's the only kind of alcoholic beverage I know of that I am literally unable to drink.

Beer - only munich/bavarian (breakfast, lunch, dinner, waching football, standing in the stadion, parties with friends, even at wine festivals)
Tequila - only one time. I don't want to spew again
Wine - never. I don't like it, even though I am living in franconia.

You shouldn't drink beer with every meal of the day

I don't drink beer with every meal, only sometimes at Breakfast, sometimes at lunch etc.
Three beer every day is way too much. I drink beer very cultivated.

I don't fuck with this recent micro brew craze. I despise IPAs. Light lagers are my favorite. In terms of taste:cost efficiency coors banquet takes the cake.
