pretty disapointed in you, cos you should now these ppl by now as I said, what are you on about? sucking on to these duch bags, the worst kind, as if nothing is wrong? sad @Goodspeed
I... what? Can you elaborate? I'm confused. What is supposed to be wrong?
You have yourself got involved in crypto-trading instead of yelling at me and Snuden for trading with evil crypto and "avoiding taxation" which is highly unethical. You succumbed to the darkness, Goodspeed.

maybe I should make a snuden thread? then you would know?

@Gendarme I am sharing news and am cautioning people to not risk their life savings. It's all too volatile at the moment for my liking. The fed is selling off their shares. IOTA received a semi-endorsement by Microsoft. If you have extra means with which to just play, then sure, it could be lucrative. People are trying to put cryptocurrency on the stock market. It would be attainable to everyone to invest in, along with the corresponding regulations, taxes, etc. My intuition is telling me that something is off. Waiting until things have settled a bit would be prudent, in my opinion. Any time the US government gets involved in financial things..... well, I'll just leave it at that. I'm not knowledgeable enough to have a decent conversation about it all. I'm simply sharing my thoughts and gut feelings.

@spanky4ever I don't exactly agree with some of his views either, but why should that prevent me from interacting with him about subjects of mutual interest? Holding grudges never got anyone anywhere.
@XeeleeFlower I see. I don't think anyone should ever invest in anything they have no clue about anyway, and it has been stated by several people in this very thread actually. A selling of 500 Bitcoins is negligible to say the least, though. I'd say that article is nothing but a case of sensationalism.
Now for something on topic!
Andreas Antonopoulos giving his thoughts on how a repeal of net neutrality could affect cryptos—short and sweet:

Man it really sucks when you have to agree with Gendarme on things.
You can use this thread to talk about cryptocurrencies, and that discussion can include talking about various ethical properties of these currencies, but you need to do so respectfully. That means that even if you believe that someone is behaving unethically, you should act respectfully towards them.
As always, please send me a direct message or use the Small Claims Court if you have an issue with this decision.

You are 100% right and I should not have gotten myself worked up like that

I wish I would take my own advice more often. Missing out on Bitcoin's rise on the beginning of a weekend! Ladies and gentledwarves, get ready for yet another episode of Bitcoin mania!
The program in the video does not seem to be the Quatloo Trader. I'm not sure how interesting it is to see these "profit percentages", as you won't be able to profit unless the gap eventually closes I think, or at least not if the gap isn't large enough to cover the transaction fees. If you look at GDAX for example, Bitcoin has constantly been more expensive than all other exchanges continuously but I don't think there's a way to take advantage of that.
I don't know how to scan for a virus. What exactly do you have in mind?
Of course there is advantage, it is called arbitrage. The transaction fees are usually very very low when sending altcoins. In the video I posted there is a link in the description, I assume that is to what he is displaying in the video.
I hear people talk about scanning download links for virus, but have no idea how they do it :/
I will probably buy a new computer tomorrow for such things. I am not too happy downloading random links on a computer, where I have info of all my wallets and accounts.
You could always run a virtual machine and install the program there instead. VMWare Workstation is a popular one. You'd probably need to have a Windows license to be able to install Windows though. It's possible that you could run the program on WineHQ on Linux, but that's perhaps too much of a hassle for you.

Why did you want a VPS?
You dont, you can install windows 10 legally for free
If you're on mac you can just partition your harddrive and put windows 10 on like a 250gb partition or smt and than if you get any viruses just completely wipe the partition
