@Snuden @deleted_user4 The constant antagonism needs to stop. Please, please make use of the ignore function, both of you.

Re: ESOC Crypto Corner
My dad started talking about BTC with me yesterday because of all the talk about it in MSM (he didn't know I am involved with crypto). He is just capitalizing on the insane amount of noobs that are flooding in to this space right now.

Imagine gibson doing live trades on Twitch... (and at the same time broadcast on the CB radio)
Howdy good folks, y'all getting ready to buy some of them Ripple bitcoins?

Re: ESOC Crypto Corner
I'd be happy to donate Bitcoins on stream just to bring awareness to crypto. Gibson (and others) should consider accepting Bitcoin donations.

Re: ESOC Crypto Corner
What's up with the mempool though? Went down to nothing randomly and then spiked af again. Blockchain.info is bugging it seems, but I am not sure. https://blockchain.info/charts/mempool-count

He reference the bible quite a few times, so have your pentagram ready.

Re: ESOC Crypto Corner
Pretty disappointing video title, but he does a 10/10 job of explaining. I didn't know it was possible to explain Bitcoin in such a detailed manner without it being hard to understand for noobs.
Pay more attention to detail.

A lot of this talk on BTC recently is starting to sound like promotion for pennystocks to me if you'd ask me.
"Why this pullback is healthy" "BTC bubble might last 100 years" "BTC future looks promising"
I'm still thinking a market crash is long overdue. Just look at the historic Dow Jones Index. Every 10 years sh*t hits the fan. But then again... that might be good for BTC :).

well depending on how you look at it, it had it's crash in 2013. so then it's not overdue.
Re: ESOC Crypto Corner
We just had a crash, or at least something that comes very close to such.
I think many people saying "this is good for crypto" might just try to calm themselves.
Having said that, I do think it somehow is good. People were buying in not even looking at what each coin represent, thinking they would double their money in weeks. This somehow bring some realism back to crypto.
I recently watched a video of the very early adopters of BTC in NYC giving speeches around town, they approached a woman to tell about the blockchain wonders.
Her reply: "Come back in a year and tell me how your BTC worked out for you!" (the BTC price was $10 at that time)
xD
