Just finished reading it; I shared it before I had finished. Some guy started out generating keys based on easy-to-guess phrases to see if they existed on the blockchain, and sure enough there had been some. He continued a bit further and checked if hashes of blocks/transactions/addresses have been used as keys, and much to his surprise (or not) there was—and this is where the plot thickens. The hypothesis is that somewhere there exists malicious code—for example in a wallet-software—disguised as innocent SHA256-functions that generates private keys for its users that the malicious coder can re-generate and access the money of his victims. The story is about this discovery and the guy's investigation which led him to actually get access to wallets of others containing large amounts of Bitcoins.

Forgive us for sounding like a broken clock. The truth is that Bitcoin has dropped from 9000 dollars yesterday, to 7000 today! How are the other cryptoes going? Are they at the same rate?

Historically BTC rebounds very very strongly once it hits 200 DMA. I guess we are about to find out if that also holds true this time.

Today's subject was the tenants living above the kiosk got busted with hashish last night, I obviously could not leave the conversation before I had voiced my utter disgust in using any kind of illegal drugs.
