I'd like to see a widget on ESOC home page with ESOCs advice with regards to bitcoins. Buy, sell or hold? Should be much more useful than that elorating nonsense.

Sounds too much of pumpndump as of yet, media claiming stuff with 20-day avg bs but clearly this will go under 6k usd soon. I'll buy after the summer, I'm also worried about recession. What do u think BTc will do in a recession (which is overdue btw)?

I thought you were in tune with the market... When weird pseudo-science is published about 20-day averages and signals while financials and eco figures point at a deep recession then well...I'm thinking 3800 now as a good buy-in point. Although, once the recession hits in 2019/20 Btc might go up?

today's price

$5,904.75 USD (-3.35%)

I think the relationship between social unrest and the need for a safe refuge of illegal capital will cause btc to reach enormous spikes. And the chances of no big crises at all occurring in the coming decades is incredibly slim.
I also buy some xrp monthly for a safe 4:1 ROI.

why would people use btc for that though? and not a better privacy coin? perhaps such coin isnt there now, but sure there will be some in the future.

Because BTC is the only thing you've ever heard about so you don't consider it as risky.
I don't know if people will flock to crypto in a recession or crisis though. That seems unlikely to me.

Yeah a strong recession will most likely crash the crypto market more than anything else (except the real estate market perhaps).

I don't have 100 years to wait for adoption. Don't go to $666, please.

If you believe a recession will happen, start buying gold. Greece will hardly survive a recession right now, people will flee from the euro and gold will be considered a very safe valuta. It happened last recession too, amd this time the Euro is at an even bigger risk. Maybe buying the pound would be decent too?

I just mean that Gendarme wont have to wait 100 years, if adoption happens, it happens quite "soon"
