this will be strange days, going forward, - without his happy tale wagging at me, enticipating a good walk. What kind of dog did you have? @fightinfrenchman ?
Hippocrits are the worst of animals. I love elifants.
Here's my pup, she's an Indian Spitz. She reminds me of another dog that I had, that one died over 7 years ago... But the new one brings happiness with her just look at her cute face
While I never had a dog but can't wait to have one, my guess is that the best way to get over the death of your dog is to get a new one?

And then their vaccination, food, if they fall ill their hospital expenditures. Plus they need time, you can't leave them at house and go out for work. Pets need care and attention and a lot of money.

nope, it reminds you of the old one more.

I have to wake up at 3am when she whines and then I have to wash her pee and poo on the floor so, I don't think the more the better holds here.
Well that would mean you'd only have one dog your whole life. I just don't agree with that mindset in general. I'd most likely get a new one, although I would need to be in mourning for a while. Yea I thought about having multiple ones too, especially if you have to let them alone during the day while at work so the dog isn't as bored. Then I realized that the training/attention needed is very time consuming even for one dog, all the expenses that goes with taking care of it, so one is probably the best bet at least early on.

Take care Spanky. *gives hug* Have you berried her if I may ask?
Not rellevant but a (small) dog was left behind at my house for like a year and our of nowehere two Bordeauxdogs came and start biting it. We jumped on them, got my 'blacky' in my house where it died under my bed. Half of the neighbourhood came to say goodbey and burried in my yarden.
Best wishes spanky and dont drink to much, especially now. Heres a Dietsch flower to sniff
