Stefanos Chios' Case
Stefanos Chios' Case
Many of you might not be aware of what happened due to the events being so recent (happened a few hours ago).
I'm gonna do my best to explain the situation to you guys. Today, our beloved member of the community, Stefanos Chios, had a visit in his office from a county court bailiff brining a nonjudicial notice of default from the Albanian (@sirmusket) Minister of foreign affairs. News site "ΜΑΚΕΛΕΙΟ" mentioned that the bailiff rushed in the building with anger, looking for Stefanos Chios. Apparently there was a conflict between the two men and Stefanos Chios shot at the direction of the bailiff 2 times, with the bullets not reaching him, probably to scare him off. Right now there is an arrest warrant for Chios, who escaped after the incident.
My opinion on this topic is that Chios had a reason to use his handgun, it was probably an act of self defense. Chios is a very calm news reporter that would never harm nobody. You can see that for yourself:
News site I've used to inform myself about the incident: https://www.newsbeast.gr/society/arthro/3477674/chamos-sto-makelio-tou-stefanou-chiou
...Thoughts?

Re: Stefanos Chios' Case
I think Chios was in his rights, he is a very calm person and unless it’s a life threatening situation he wouldn’t harm a fly, I hope he will be fine.

Why does he have a gun?
And how did bailiffs of the court enter his house? There is a legal barrier called 'a door' which they may not pass.

Re: Stefanos Chios' Case
Chios is the head editor of the newspaper "Μακελειό", the man didn't enter his house but the offices of the newspaper. It's been rumored that the man was not a bailiff but some kind of bouncer, a bailiff has no business arguing with Chios about him signing the paper or not, he is essentially a mailman delivering the paper.
