Unfortunately I never tried slush puppies. Only ICEE, RaceTrac slushie and Speedy Freeze. They were all good.

Any fatigue cracks showing on the cup? Do you think the inside of the cup is wearing down from the constant influx and outflow of slush crystals? The silicone (or rubber) that holds the divider in place should be fixed ASAP. In it's current state it is a perfect place for bacteria to build up.
I would not buy anything from that store until they have fixed the issue.

Google scholar the plastic shit. It's no cake walk but it's also not as, um, severe as radix says, and in itself unavoidable, so it does little good to worry about it.

Chemical waste used to be burnt at sea till fish and seals showed up dead in numbers, since then shady companies have been ditching it in rivers and fuel oil.
