If I worked at that place we’d probably make fun of him for being so cheap

83 cents per refill though, which is adding up to be quite a lot

Overfills are definitely a variable in this test. Do you try to pressurize the cup when filling?

I try to get as much as I can for my money, so yes the cup gets somewhat pressurized. I find that "caverns" can form in the slush if I don't try to pack as much as I can in the cup.

You're talking voids.

Next time bring a metal rod (or perhaps a straw could work) and fill the slushie up in thirds. After each third, push the rod or straw in and out ~15 times to get rid of any potential voids. In subsequent layers make sure your rod penetrates 1 inch into the previous layer. This is what is done with concrete test cylinders. Be careful not to hit the very bottom or you could risk structural failure of the foam cup.

Fresh refill. Same flavor, same cup, same employees. The cup just feels “tired” to me.

when at turkey hill yesterday with cheadar I noticed new marketing for the slushies. It appeared the refills were no longer being advertised. I'm starting to think cheadar may be paying full price.

I know I'm not paying full price, I look at the price.

It is very possible the gas station will change its refill policy because of you. Rejoice! That is more influence than most men attain in their entire lives.

To think that this will probably be one of my least influential feats.

Or his anal dildo. Is that not what they do with concrete?

The avg cost of 1 drink is 0.05 ct. so I don't think they worry about it too much.
In Asia fastfood chains like McDonalds etc. offer unlimited refills.

You are still silly for wanting to mix your drink with plastic particular matter.

It's a slushie not a fountain drink.

I think slushies are the same product cost wise as regular cola tap systems. Perhaps a slightly higher electricity cost. Similar to milkshake machines, only diff. milk being much more expensive than water+sugar.

Just got a fresh refill. As I tamped down the slush by “bouncing” the cup some flew out the top and onto my face. You can see some walnut in the back of this pic.

3rd best gatorade flavor. Gatorade flavors deserve a thread-poll.

New day, new refill. Borrowed gustav’s turkey hill card so I wouldn’t look like a goob for the 14th time in a row at checkout.

Man, I really enjoyed these ICEE-type drinks at the gas stations when I was headed to the Evergladesh for the spring break.

Unfortunately I never tried slush puppies. Only ICEE, RaceTrac slushie and Speedy Freeze. They were all good.

My opinion is not shared by this guy though https://prezi.com/jf-qeiugdq6d/slurpees-vs-speedy-freezes/

Slush puppies are simply the best. I don't know how anyone who has consumed one could argue otherwise. The catch here is actually consuming one since finding a place that sells them can be difficult.
