When it is assessing your rank for the first time it isn't the best. Usually it starts you around silver and works up or stays at silver if you lose.

Its not the best MM system and this does happen though.

yea but even if you count me as a silver I its still 2 gn4 a gn2 a sem and a gn1 vs 3 silver I 1 silver II and a sem. Also, my first game I 40 fragged vs silver II and III so I think it knows im a bit better than that

It still fluctuates a lot in your first games. Things like this do happen though and it gets pretty retarded, but the more you play the more stable your rank will be and it should match a lot better.
