Stephen Baxter

Good Omens

Locke and Key

Sandman

All beautiful works and thought provoking without realizing that you're being provoked to think. Perfect for summer reading.
Time is wise and our wounds seem to heal to the rhythm of aging,
But our past is a ghost fading out that at night it’s still haunting.

Das Ohr didn't really specify what kind of books he's interested in, he just told to make sure they're good. Though he seems to enjoy societal ponderings.

Read some Samuel 1 / 2 books from the Bible, awsome stories.
When I watch Lord of the ring movies I experience hundreds of old testament references.
