So far I've read Ian Bremmer's Us vs. Them: The Failure of Globalism and I'm mostly done Madeleine Albright's Fascism: A Warning.

GIve me some more recs, and make sure they're actually good

Das Ohr didn't really specify what kind of books he's interested in, he just told to make sure they're good. Though he seems to enjoy societal ponderings.

Planning on reading the expanse series. Heard its even better than the series

Read some Samuel 1 / 2 books from the Bible, awsome stories.
When I watch Lord of the ring movies I experience hundreds of old testament references.
