I found sites who pay you for answering to polls online, I don't think these are scam but it's not worth at all since you earn the equivalent of like 0.5€/h
If you know a foreign language you can be an online teacher, else idk how to help.

There are transcription services (where you type out what is being said or describe what is on a picture) you can do online. You don't need to be very skilled to do it, so it's a good start.

But I have to wonder why you have to do it online. Can't you drive for Uber or work in retail or something?

Are there other transport methods you can use? What is the reason you have to do it online? There are plenty of simple jobs you don't have to be very skilled for.

Anyways, the transcription jobs I mentioned is the best tip I can give you. The online surveys give you absolutely nothing and streaming on Twitch or making videos won't pay off except if you are talented, lucky and have time. Perhaps you can do online computer support from home, I'm not sure.

You can definitely start a tech support scam. Just gotta know your tree & netstat command in CMD.

If you can code, I bet there are some work-from-home paid internships around your city.

If you have to ask, you might as well forget about it.

More seriously, yea we don't know what you're good at, so it's hard to help you. You're not gonna get any real money online without being good at something I think.

Ah and I should say that two easy ways to get a lot of money fast (at least in france, idk in the usa) is to give lessons or to baby sit. Lessons pay like crazy (I had sometimes 25€/h at high school level, so around $30/h), baby sitting pays slightly less but obviously it's also easier since you don't need any special knowledge. Then yeah that's not online stuff, but still it's pretty good.

What kind of money are you looking to make? Just a random $20 to buy a game or whatever; enough to live off of? Does it have to be exclusively online? How ethical does it have to be?

If youre living in the US, i guess even the McDonald´s there pays better than making money via online (considering you have some specific knowledge on some field).
Only thing that is on my mind which has been already mentioned here is mturk suggested by Gendarme. For people living in shit countries like me its way better to work via mturk or some online shit, since you get 2,5-3,5$ an hour for McDonald´s job in here, which is the only realistic way to make money in here for students.There was a guy who told me he made 10$ an hour via mturk, i dont know if thats true or not, but if it was technically i would have better hourly income than my mother lol.

Well if there was a way to make money at home without spending time everybody would do it lol.
Anyway, if you do 2 hours lessons/week, you're going to make 40-50 $ and there's no way you can make 50$ online in less than 2 hours.

If you don't have any skills, like coding, and you just want $50, then I would just stick with surveys and what-have-you. No real point in getting too involved in something so short term. If you ever go to thrift stores or pawn shops then you could buy cheap things there and sell them for more on e-bay. It's one of those things that you can do on a super small scale, but build-up if you're good at it.

I have made money doing surveys in the past. This is probably the easiest way to start making money but it won't be that much. There's a skill to "qualifying" to complete the survey.
