Clinton supporters seem to have as main argument to attack the other candidates's supporters. Very telling.
I got flamed when I tried to talk about policy differences - look in the Bernie thread if you want evidence of that.

My argument has always been that Bernie is a demagogue with no real idea of how he would put any of his policies into motion. I have criticized his supporters because they don't question anything Bernie says (no matter how impractical or unsubstantiated), they attack those who do, they claim any liberal who doesn't support their candidate is a traitor (I got called a fake liberal by iwillspankyou when I said Bernie didn't have a real plan), and they entertain disproven Republican allegations against the Clintons.
I also think that people who refer to the other candidate as "evil" are stupid, a sentiment I am sure has been implied by my responses.
1. To all who call hillary a 'liar' or 'crooked', being a liar is part of the job description for a lawyer, and that obviously carried over to her political scene. Hell, even with politics things always converge to namecalling, BS'ing, and repeating zombie lies. 2. Bernie tried to use the existing democrat party to his advantage, but got BURNED instead. This caused a lot of his supporters to scream "UNFAIR" or "ILLEGAL." 3. To all those who call hillary a bitch, she's earned it.

> mwf people deem serious crimes regarding security issues as "legal issues"

don't pretend that's not true
I mean it's not in anyway true at all but continue living in your fantasy realm if you like..... Someone needs to stop reading too much r/conspiracy and r/sandersforpresident
So I'm reasoning with someone who is comparing denying 9/11 to denying that Hillary committed a federal crime. Quite frankly it's offensive that you're referring so flippantly to something that cost hundreds and hundreds of lives and comparing it to using an unsecured phone. Well hate to break it to you, but what you're saying is nothing but conspiracy theory. Provide some actual evidence that what you're saying is true and maybe someone might consider taking you seriously.
Corruption implies fraudulent conduct in exchange for money, and that's not what's happening. For the most part, no laws are broken and those who do break the law (break campaign finance laws) get imprisoned. However, that is not to say that there is not a culture of dishonesty and conflict of interest in Washington - there certainly is. The country has been unable to fully recover because special interests exert a tremendous amount of influence on our politics, not because of fraud and crime. There is still no way a person can get elected to public office with money and the blessing of the powerful alone.
Honestly, mandate all elections be publicly financed and prohibit politicians from taking lobbying jobs after they retire from the government, and most of the problems America faces would look a lot more surmountable.
