Thanks to Whatsapp policy I use Telegram OP

Basically, due to last Whats app decison about its policy, I've tried Telegram. This app is just Op as fuck, you can quote a message like on forums, you can edit your message, you can talk with people without giving you phone number. Even more you can have prorected chats and moreover playing some games with your friends thanks to bots. This is just Whats app with better stuff. Not even talking about the fact that you don't send datas to a big american private company. What do you think about this ?

It says that your What's app account is going to be linked with your Facebook account thanks to mobile number, and they are going to add avertisements on WA it seems.

Well, WhatsApp has always said they will never advertise (themselves) and it looks like with the new owner (Facebook) that won't change. However, they will work together with companies where they can send you messages (advertisements) and you can use WhatsApp for customer support, which will probably the last straw for many people.

Good method, I try to apply that to all my life struggles.

I dont think I will ever switch from whatsapp in the future, itd require convincing too many people to do so. I could move to telegram with some friends I imagine, but then itd still be using whatsapp.

That's the main problem. It's not that WhatsApp is a super great app with many features or anything, it's just that it's so popular for some reason and you'd have to ask too many people to switch...

WhatsApp (allegedly) has P2P encryption, so they can't be stalking as much as Facebook can (although they can still monitor when and where you use the app probably). Simply delete Facebook, never look back, and enjoy freedom and enlightenment rushing through your veins (and also the reality of loneliness when all your virtual friends are gone with the wind). Do as I suggest and you shall forever be thankful.

1) Facebook will still have a profile full of information about you. Even when you delete your account of have never had an account.

2) Yes, it has encryption, this means that it's encrypted while traveling between you and the one you are talking to. It's not stored encrypted on your phone which means a hacker or even WhatsApp can still send the data to other people.

By having a bank account your privacy is not intruded nearly as much as by having a Facebook account. And there are ways to use the internet privately, and a lot of people do. Regarding your last point, I think you are underestimating the interests of Facebook. Facebook and companies alike (Microsoft, Apple, etc.) are demanding more and more of your privacy by the day. Facebook and Microsoft, recently changed their policies, and heck, Microsoft even gave away Windows 10 (spyware) away free to everyone, and insisted for months that you upgrade with endless notifications to anyone who had not yet upgraded.

I don't want to go into too much detail as it's off topic, but I think your presumption of the benevolence of Facebook is wrong, and perhaps even a dangerous one.
