I'm saying because you are stuck this narrative of left versus right, you see the left as the opposition in that battle, rather than as an ally in the narritive of democracy vs non-democracy. Trump basically stands for everything that destroys the core value of democracy, so I can't see how you would think of this as a victory of right over left and find consolation in that, while its a victory rather of anti-democratic sentiment which makes these oppositions obsolete.
