I just hope DE is not going to implement all of the EP changes. Right now it is a big clusterfuck.

You want something with a gtx 960m and quad core i5 or higher for >30 fps on witcher 3.

Well if you can play the witcher it means your pc will run a large portion of modern games so thats pretty nice. Hard thing for a laptop to achieve though.

i bought a MSI gaming laptop for 750ā‚¬ a year ago. i dont have witcher 3 yet, but i can play witcher 2 on high settings without problems.. as an IT student, i can't complain bout the laptop at all (except bout windows ofc..), at that time i cudnt find any other notebook/laptop that had the same amount of power for that price. (high energy consumption tho)

I would look for a MSI gaming laptop, they are very good in their price range. However if there is any possibility that you can do this, please just build a desktop and have an easy laptop to travel with. I recommend i3 or i5 as well, 960m or 970m or higher GPU and a SSD.

Laptops are not good for gaming and those very few that are good are expensive.

If you already have a laptop with a Thunderbolt port, you could get one of these babes (http://www.razerzone.com/store/razer-core) and get any of these GPUs from newegg:

Qualified AMD Radeonā„¢ graphics chipsets:
AMD Radeonā„¢ RX 480
AMD Radeonā„¢ RX 470
AMD Radeonā„¢ RX 460
AMD Radeonā„¢ R9 Fury
AMD Radeonā„¢ R9 Nano
AMD Radeonā„¢ R9 300 Series
AMD Radeonā„¢ R9 290X
AMD Radeonā„¢ R9 290
AMD Radeonā„¢ R9 285

Qualified NVIDIAĀ® GeForceĀ® graphics chipsets:
NVIDIAĀ® GeForceĀ® GTX 1080
NVIDIAĀ® GeForceĀ® GTX 1070
NVIDIAĀ® GeForceĀ® GTX 1060
NVIDIAĀ® GeForceĀ® GTX Titan X
NVIDIAĀ® GeForceĀ® GTX 980 Ti
NVIDIAĀ® GeForceĀ® GTX 980
NVIDIAĀ® GeForceĀ® GTX 970
NVIDIAĀ® GeForceĀ® GTX 960
NVIDIAĀ® GeForceĀ® GTX 950
NVIDIAĀ® GeForceĀ® GTX 750 Ti
NVIDIAĀ® GeForceĀ® GTX 750

PS. I assumed you already have a laptop but want to get a newer one for new games.

I would do a bit more research and check the feedback from buyers, see if it has any hidden issues or build quality issues. But at this price, it seems unbeatable for the specs.
It really needs an SSD, tho. But that could be like 80 bucks.

SSD is absolutely great as an internal drive from which to boot and run the OS (and programs). It makes no noise and it's much much faster than ordinary HDDs. And you can find one for like 69-80 bucks.

This guy has a more balanced review about that model, he says the touchscreen is not so responsive and the keyboard might flex if you push into it, but the selling point is the internals are quite solid for the price. So there is a trade-off here. Usually laptops under 1000 bucks don't have a separate GPU, they have integrated graphics, so this is one of the few laptops under 1000 bucks that can do some gaming.

It has a bottom panel that can be easily removed to make upgrades.

You can add an M.2 SSD in a PCI slot

So i can have both internal ssd and hdd + an external hdd on that? Does adding ssd have any drawback?

No, it's an amazing upgrade. I got my first SSD a few weeks ago and everything runs like 3 times faster without having the noise from a mechanical HDD drive. System boots fast, everything launches faster. It's the best upgrade you can get on a PC.

And yeah, as the video shows you can have both an HDD and an SSD, because they're connected in different places (slots: SATA for the HDD and PCI for the SSD).
