We've quickly put together some visual changes to give the AoE:O section an appropriate AoE:O feel. When browsing the AoE:O subforum, this skin will be used. To apply it sitewide, select it in the "Board Preferences" tab of your User Control Panel accessed through the drop down menu in the top right of the site.

It's still a work in progress -- expect more improvements!

I'm a huge fan of this bridged look between AoE:O and ESOC. Great work!
Man who wearies the Untiring, the Immortal -
Earth, eldest of the Gods, as year by year,
His plough teams come and go,
The care-free bands of birds,
Beasts of the wild, tribes of the sea,
In netted toils he takes,
The Subtle One.

AoE 0 a mod of AoE 3 or an entire new game?

It's not the number 0, it's the letter O. It stands for "Online". It's an entire new game that was released back in 2009/2010, killing AoE3. It went into hibernation but alas, it has awoken.

I think a lot of TAD players will migrate to AOEO regardless or what we do, so we might as well include AOEO here so ESOC doesn't get split up. We might also recruit current AOEO players to TAD. Believe it or not, but it is possible to be involved in two games simultaneously unless you're LordRaphael.

It's just great to see different Age Of Empires communities working together! Often many players are just interested in their favourite game and they tend to be negative about the other games of the series, but this is different! Hopefully this collaboration will help both games grow, as they are both really good games!

PF2K actually made our very first overlay during Spring 2015 so you might've heard from him there. He hasn't been active in the AoE3 community, true, but he's done great work in the AoEO community in the meantime and his art is amazing.
